By far the best restaurant we have been to in a while..... we went for our 6th wedding anniversary and the table was set when we arrived.... Federico was our server and he deserved ever bit of the tip we left... he was attentive, he was informative, he was compassionate and he was even a little funny...... we had one small hiccup not worth mentioning because the manager rectified quickly....

Dessert - fantastic
I had been only once before in a group setting however this day was special and the made it all the more better

Truluck's HAD been a go to date night favorite for over 15 years - here, Austin, Dallas, & the old Addison location - we got engaged at the Austin one & have celebrated many events at the others. Not after tonight. Back in for a quick getaway & made last minute reservations. 7:00 & the place is 25% full. FOH manager at the door instantly lectures us on having on flip flops (husband in khakis & polo, I'm in shorts & blouse but yes, flip flops). See several other people in flip flops.
Crab cake starter was average to say the least. Lobster bisque arrives - runny and spicy with a weird flavor - not like the old bisque we loved. Server assures us he's taking it off the tab. Ok, great. Dinner. Filet medium rare was closer to med well and salmon bearnaise was swimming in bland sauce. Finish our meal, pay the tab, & realize the bisque is still on it. So husband writes "bisque?" next to tip line (yes, he still tipped but 12%). The waiter then proceeds to CHASE US OUT THE DOOR to try & get us to let him fix the check & his tip.
Completely unprofessional & average from beginning to end, food quality has gone downhill, & there's too many other great places nearby to waste time or money here. -

Great Place to be at very relaxing and positive atmosphere. They had an excellent young woman playing the Piano and she was truly amazing, our waitress was super friendly and quick on her feet.
I had the Sweet and Spicy Tuna while my boyfriend had the Swordfish along with Crab Cakes. They were all delicious and it was a truly great experience here it was my first time and we will be back for more -

Michael was our server, he did an exceptional job , had us feeling comfortable and welcomed. This is my second time for the year and always a great experience here.

Yelpers. This place is outstanding! The food is fantastic, our server Andrew was amazing. From the lobstercago (crazy good) to the outrageously large seafood carnation, probably THE best restaurant I've dined in for a while. Don't pass it up it's great!
